You wouldn't want to lie or embellish about your profession anyway. If the woman doesn't appreciate what you do and what you love, you won't be together for very long. Of course, if that's the intention, then by all means, tell her whatever you want, and your "highly-addictive trading HABIT" will be a great way to dump her ass.
I'm reading your guys posts and wanted to make you think of this... I'm a female trader - CBOE a couple of years, Treasuries for a year, now options on my own - how do you think it sounds for me when a man asks me what I do and I say I'm a trader? Personally, as a woman, I think when a man says he's a trader it's sexy because I know what goes into it...
i forget who here said it, but one of my favs from an older thread is: "well, i don't actually DO anything." oh, and "sexually" has 2 Ls.
