So here we are nearly 6 years later...How time flies when you are not gambling...☺

It really depends on the approach that a market participant takes. A lot of newcomers approach trading as gambling, some approach it as science, and most people are somewhere in the middle.

 

Unfortunately there is no "It's Both" option, so i have to abstain.

 

And some people approach creation as an accident...

 

works in ranging; get killed in trending, fast moving in either direction.

so lets come up with a way that trading can be "not gambling"

Gambling for those that dont know anything about trading , they open a trading account and they wipe out, Not gambling for those who take it slow and try to understand the game every day, Like me

 

Gambling for 95% of daytraders

 

So let me see if I got this right...

If a trader slowly loses money it is "Not Gambling"
