Of course it is gambling, because everyone tells me it is. A few clicks, shuffle some money around. What cash you don't keep goes to money heaven.

2. limitdown,

Who designated you to be the spokeperson "for the rest of us traders"?

As far as my job and how I spend my time.... well lets just say that perhaps I have more time on my hands than you for whatever reason that may be. But I would really not judge that by the number of posts in a Forum...

This thread is asking for your vote...all it ever has asked for is your vote...now if you feel you need to justify your "poison" that is up to you...

what say you? Have you voted?

P.S. You do not even realize the amount of time I spend to keep these threads spam-free...but oh no! that would mean a "Thank You"

3. If trading wasn't gambling, then everyone would trade these binaries all you need is to be right by one tick!

What I don't get is why doesn't everyone trade these binaries? either at the above link or another dealer.... all one needs to do is guess the direction for 10 minutes to an hour later and earn 70%---- surely the market wizards on elite could do this easily, how hard could it be to call a ONE TICK move in your favor?

Think about how much gambling trading really is, if you cant do the simple task of calling the market 10 minutes to an hour out.

my vote is for gamble.

5. the question is too general

it depends
gambling is gambling
trading is trading
two different words

you could gamble at trading and some of us do
and you could trade as a business

can you trade at gambling?
is card counting gambling?

7. Well, the rules of trading might be the same over time, but the game keeps changing, enough to drag new fools into the game that act in predictable manners over the long haul. In the short term, the crowd wins and loses together. In the long term, the lone trader is the victor.

8. It is gambling with an edge, so it's not gambling, it's trading. just my 2 cents
