Oh, I'm definitely a Daily guy. That's my one, and only, timeframe I'm concerned with. SPX daily. (but I also like to observe the DOW, Nasdaq, and Russell charts as well for a whole, collective, broad market image) More specifically, SPX options. Daily/intraday.
There is always stock manipulation or people trying to. The question is what stocks and how much manipulation. I can see penny stocks and low float stocks get manipulated. However, it’s very difficult to manipulate large cap stocks, such as AAPL or TSLA, etc. and it’s almost impossible to do anything to the big ETFs, such as QQQ and SPY, etc.
I don't use bars, volume or any common indicators. I just stare at a basic, smooth, line....and realize what is unfolding and happening, Of course, though, the devil is in the details, setup, realization, expectations, assumptions, wisdom, experience, data, emotions, etc etc misc misc of when to Buy for the day, and when to Sell for the day, -- one trade, one day, It's all incredibly basic, and rather incredibly profound, at the same time,
I can tell you have poured hundreds of hours doing chart analysis. Not many people can see the relative easiness of 10 points on the SPX on the 1M charts. Congratulations.
What I mean is go to raw data module in your trading platform, put in NIO and go back to the 12th and see the actual data.
