Is trading art or science?

  1. I am a full time trader and a talented programmer, I figure why not developing software to help traders to test their skills, I think I should be blest rather then criticized!

  2. point taken. good luck with your venture.

    not an excuse, but the way you started the thread and came back to it with a commercial solicitation didnt leave a good impression.

    again, i shouldnt have assumed bad intentions, good luck and have a great weekend

    I'm starting to think it's pure Voodoo!

    Gonna start watching my lava lamp more closely when trading.

  4. Well, you made me laugh, but seriously, it is an art, and unlike chess computers will never beat human traders!

  5. ============================

    There is loads & lots in that statement:cool:

    And you may agree with this also;
    its also a busness.

    Many artists & scientists have to work for others;
    cause they cant run a business, or have the illusion working for someone else is ''security''

  6. Depending on the circumstances a trader can NEVER beat a computer.

    A computer can trade more stocks at a time and can execute orders faster.

    What if the time span of trading was limited to the first 5 - 10 minutes of trading at market open? Do you think a human has a chance against a computer?
