Is Tradestation 8 or 2000i run well with vista?

    I would like to know everyones opinion on if Vista works will with tradestation 8 or 2000i?

    or should I buy a desktop with XP pro?

    If you haven't bought a vista machine. Highly recommend XP

    I have experienced nothing but conflicts, freezing and shut downs... I removed Vista and installed XP and problems solved...

    Vista is similar to Windows ME, Microsoft failure... XPpro will be supported for an additional 5-years...

    I have not personally experienced crashes in Vista but the thing steals half of your speed and give almost nothing in return.

    Avoid.

    I've had absolutely no problems w/Vista and it's considerably faster than XP on my system. Can't speak to TS but MetaStock runs just peachy-keen, and I'm running an older ver, 7.2.
