  1. Eight

This is true.. I have no hope for anything political anymore, I don't register, I don't vote [I don't do Jury Duty]..

Socialism is melting down worldwide, it destroyed the Russian economy in less than a generation and then it finally completely melted down after a few generations. I have some acquaintances that argue the Marxist hard line even today! I am concluding that politics goes more with the Myer's Briggs personality type than it does with any form of reality at all. That renders politics futile... now history's repetitive nature, that is not at all futile to look at and very easy to interpret, that is as close to reality that we can get with regard to politics...

  2. So on the one hand democracy is "the best" because it expresses the will of the people.

On the other hand, voters are never to blame for anything because they have no real voice.

    Pick one.

  3. It's obvious that voters cast their vote to elect representatives to do a job!!

Which is make themselves rich trading on inside information. :D

"According to an academic study published Wednesday in the journal "Business and Politics," members of the House of Representatives outperform the average stock-market investor by 55 basis points a month, or 0.55 percentage points, according to the Washington Times, which brought it to my attention. Extrapolated over a full year, that figures to an extra 6.8% per annum after compounding -- better than hedge-fund superstars."

    Now, the question is............................

If they are greedy enough scum-sucking bastards to line their pockets from their position, are they high-minded enough to not be bought-out by lobbyists for campaign money and, how shall we say..... "deferred compensation".......?

    :D :D :D
