This is not a signals copying tool, it's just a software which creates orders according to his School run strategy. In fact, not even the orders, but just draws lines and allows one to open the position with one click. So one can still use it discretionary. I am not saying this makes the whole thing less suspicious, but just to be clear.
Ok, but still, wouldn't it be easier just to charge 5 or 10 bucks a month for telegram channel? Easy and legal money, without any need for collusion, conspiracy, fraud, etc.
I will not get into a long reply with you on this but providing signals is clearly an indication to his disciples to take the trade. You will have to ask your mate Tom why he doesn't charge for signals, probably because they are all so terrible lol . Also because he makes a small fortune from course selling and commissions on losing accounts from the local bahamas bucket shop. Good luck on your CFD mission. To anyone else not affiliated with Tom Hougaard like this poster clearly is and who has arrived from Google. No. I think market research done by people like this, and their collective experience, reliably shows that only a tiny proportion are willing to pay it. Scams like this basically work by convincing gullible people that they’re actually getting something free. So, honestly, I think the answer to your question is “no”. But also (and perhaps more importantly), the key point to appreciate is - as mentioned above - that people who can trade successfully don’t need (or want) Youtube channels or arrangements with unregulated, offshore, high-leverage “brokers”. Surely you can see that something’s clearly “not right,” here, Luka?
Ok, fair enough. But he is not my mate, I am just discussing his phenomenon. Neither him nor td365 don't sell any courses. But I get your point about commissions on losing accounts. It's possible. No, I am not. I've googled "is Tom Hougaard a scam" after reading his book and found this forum. That's all.
I don't see it. But again, I am not market research expert. Maybe you are right. With this I disagree. Many successfull people in many areas of life have a need to express themselfs via blogs, youtube, social networks, etc. I don't see why trading should be an exception. Yeah, this part doesn't sound right to me either.
1. He's not a phenomenon. 2. Indeed, it seems his courses are not available currently. Regardless he used to run expensive paid seminars and sell courses. He probably doesnt need the hassle with his other income streams now. 3.Ok. You seem intent on finding him as being legit. As someone who has been round the block as a trader I am telling you all does not add up here.. Make of that what you will. Go and deposit $10k into td365 and if indeed you can ever withdraw 1 dime I will consider a miracle. Making a profit and withdrawing it with these junkyard signals is even more unlikely. One last bit of food for thought, WHY would some supposed 'good' bucket shop trader trade 'live' and offer free signals? for charity? because he is a kind man? Get real.
You are going by all these sort of hunches: "all does not add up here" and going be speculative questions: why would he do this? Why would he do that? The guy trades live on Youtube, go track his P&L. If his P&L sucks then fine, if he makes bank, then just go and take the L. Just more lazy speculation from people.
Show me an audited P and L that shows his profits? Every signal I have checked and any time I have looked at his livestream he is losing. He doesnt have a P and L. He has a manually written result page on his website ending 2021 , not much more to say on that,... The other thing is because he is clearly linked to TD365 its easy with MT5 server to backdate trades/adjust entry, profit etc and the same for telegram posts. I refrain from my actual thoughts on how bad 'influencers' are so I dont get banned from the forum but good luck with your bucket shop and youtube candlstick fagin trading journey.
