Well, for some reason Croatia (although part of EU) is put on the list of prohibited countries by futures prop firms. That's the main reason in my case.
Wow, I’m extremely surprised to hear it! Might Earn2Trade (also futures) possibly be your answer? Croatia is not apparently on their list of prohibited countries.
Hi there, I've traded futures for more than 10 years and CFD's for more than ten years and I had far more problems with futures platforms and data feeds etc. than I ever had with CFD's. I also used believe that trading futures was "better" than trading CFD's, but that has not been my experience. To be quite honest I don't think there is much difference, just trade whatever suits you and use a broker/mm that has a fairly decent reputation.
Thanks, I'll check it out. I was looking at MyFundedFutures, TradeDay and TopStep, they all have Croatia on the list. But this one might work out
Not much difference? What a complete load of rubbish. What futures platforms and data feeds did you have issues with? and what problems were they? Futures and CFD are completely different. Stop pumping out complete BS information.
Do you remember Mirus Futures-Zenfire/NinjaTrader? That was the first real issue I had - they performed some update over the weekend and never opened for business ever again and yes that was about fifteen years ago. I think they then became NinjatTrader brokerage. I've also used CQG/Sierra and CQG/Motivewave both with lots of headaches - freeze and disconnect - sometimes for lengthy periods. Rithmic was a bit better, but still a few headaches. If you believe futures are much better that's fine I'm not here to convince anyone of anything I'm just sharing my experience. You do seem to have a bit of the angry loser streak in you so I'm not going to debate this any further with you, as I said just sharing my experience.
Angry loser? Im a full time futures trader and very profitable. I just dont like hearing people talk about subjects they clearly know nothing about. I traded with AMP and CQG before with no issues , then Sierra Chart and Denali/Teton with occasional disconnects; now RJ obrien as well with Sierra/CQG and no issues 99.9% of the time with anything . Execution always on point for both.
The main bugbear I have is with the thread title and trying to enlighten people about the dodginess of CFD bucket shops and 'pro' CFD trader influencers.
Well after a good day shorting ES I decided to check in on global trading guru Trader Tom. you guessed it, another losing day on the old candlesticks for Tommy. So I got to thinking, is he trading demo or is he making money from his Telegram group, because he doesn't seem to be very competent at trading the ole 'sticks. It turns out that he is indeed heavily affiliated with TD365 and in fact has had a signals extension developed with the aforementioned company. If you are very lucky and daring, you too can sign up at TD365 bucket shop, deposit a load of your hard earned cash, and , for free until the end of this year mind; you can install a signals copying tool from the mighty Tom. Wow, just think how lucky you are when your account is at zero and there is zip all comebacks. Tall image shows all the mentions in recent weeks about TD365. Now, if I was an untrusting kind of person (yup) then I might indeed think the bucket shop and trader are very closely linked. Warning over.
There is also 2600 people in his trading signals software group.... so if even 50% of them were using this via the Bahamas barbers shop 'regulated' Td365 , and they all deposited a minimum of $2k +.. well the rest is clear.
