Please post the links, at minimum for the tax payments - otherwise you're just hot air. "Audited" sounds really good until you actually call it.
The "ask him for his tax statements" is a good tactic, guaranteeing no one asking for it gets a reply.

  2. LOL. I guess things are relative. He isn't from the ghetto, if that's what you mean.

  3. You know the answer, and I am taking the bait-- oh well
Duh--- Maybe it's something to do with limited shares available, low volume. Sum ting leke dat?

No doubt the guys internet persona is out of control and obnoxious but I just don't get the hate. Anyone with even a modicum of success is hated by the majority on this board. Very sad.:D

    "You know the answer,'
this is another trick of a con man. you know the answer .
"Duh" as it seems so obvious. all you can do is back it up with a maybe.

    "just the facts,mam"
where are the statements? paste them.
can't do it because you are part of his scam and then perhaps you don't know even know you are part of it?

  5. marketsurfer,

This thread has now become about you justifying why Tim is not a scammer vs the other readers of the thread. So far you have brought no solid proof and I can imagine that considering how engaged you are in defending Tim, there must be some personal reason/investment behind this engagement (otherwise it wouldn't make sense, unless you are just trolling).

    OP of the thread.

  6. I have been friends with Tim since his hedge fund days. I feel he is being unfairly maligned so I launched a defense of my friend. No investment or other reason.

  8. most of these suckers have nothing to lose. market surf is still a pathological liar, wouldn't waste my time on that crazy buffoon. he can't explain how he claims to make millions and follows an internet guru trying to make a couple hundred bucks. lol. 4,000+ posts what has this shitbag amounted to?

Girls, girls, girls. I like my mud wrestling show with more tits and alcohol and less verbal abuse. Since we had a live call, why don't we look at facts and numbers, although I am sure your brain is going to hurt. I am warning you...

Since unlike Surf, I like investigative journalism and logic, I googled "Tim Sykes technical analyses". Oh, the porn I have found, you should see it!!!

Anyhow, a stumbled upon his profit.ly reports, so let's check it out with his call posted it here:

    posted on Friday:
Sykes says GNIN will crash Monday. He is short 26k plus shares. Any challengers?

Who am I to challenge anyone? After all I dropped out from school at 3rd grade for bad math, and I worked for Arthur Anderson as an accountant. I am not challenging anyone, but I like to look at numbers. They are sexy!!!

So it looks like GNIN nicely dropped from 1.58 Friday closing price to just under 1.2 on Monday (that is almost 25%) before bouncing back to 1.4. Nice drop, nice call, nice profit, if he stayed in for the drop.

But did he??? Well, this is where things get confusing. On this site, he says he was short 53K shares from 1.78 to 1.63, he shorted on the 13th:

    http://profit.ly/1MnPAB?aff=12

Well, nice to know, but on this site they report a profit of 7534$ for the same short, exiting on the 18th:

    http://www.timothysykes.com/2013/02/does-technical-analysis-work-for-penny-stock-promotions/

And here ladies, we have a few problems:

    1. It says he was short 53K not what Surf said 26K. I guess 53 technically is 26+...
    2. On Monday where the exit supposedly happened, price was nowhere near 1.63, the supposedly exit price. The open was 1.54, highest 1.55.

See, I told you your brain is going to hurt, I warned you. Now it is possible that he shorted it twice, but :

    1. Why would you give an exit price that is way higher than any price on that day?
    2. Since he was right with his call, he should be telling us:"see, I told you so, and I made 10-20%"

Anyhow, maybe once Surf finishes Journalism school he could ask his friend about these discrepancies. I am sure there is a simple explanation...

Until that, I am getting a drink, nevermind the interruption and ladies, please, carry on...

P.S.: For extra credit, a quote from one of his subscribers:

This was my first attempt to trade with TIM :p I put in an order for 8k shares in IB last night, at $1.78 never got 1 filled, and I see it breaking right down now. I might need to study more, on how to get orders filled. Shame to have missed this..."
