I agree maddest market conditions I've ever seen, not been that bad this week or I've gotten used to it not sure which, last week WTF!!
I’ll never forget the day I saw bids on bear stearns getting vaporized wow. I’ve seen .com , 911 but bear stearns getting 10 levels clipped in chunks on level 2 was the most scary shit I’ve ever seen. It was the Friday it went bye bye
every 10 years last was 2008 which a long time. or every generation. one generation is 18-20 years. even they didn't halt it would be more like 10% they halted a lot of institutions..remember the pension funds and institutions are not even selling anything. at least every generatikon at least. your time has come to die..Buffet generation well 80% of his generation gone. same with Biden. old men who won't let go. and retire in the sunset. live forever in the afterlife. selfishness..everyone looking out for their own interest.. dog eat dog capitalism
Lol. 2008 puts this to shame. Your getting caught on in a 1000 pt moves . 500 pt moves at Dow 7500 is much greater volatility . The real difference is in 2008 we had big gaps in prices and real panic. This is like a walk in the park as everything is so orderly.
you must be getting old and losing your memory..you mean were not here in october 2008 and october 2002?? if you were long equities,,you be barfing and jump down 100 floor building if you were long on margin. there was no bids only market makers and professionals were buying. seriously just last week if you had long futures contracts and didn't have STOP..and didn't sell...your wipe out last week. futures is like 95% leverage. same with people selling puts or insurance pff on stocks..your nuts to sell puts in this markets unless it's rigged stock..
This is nothing compared to 99 08 etc, so easy. Fwiw I sold most of my TVIX SQQQ UVXY into the close today, up $1400. Because it's been up down every day this week and I wouldn't be surprised to see a gap up day Friday.... then red monday. Big picture this market is going to sell off significantly imho and easily lose last December lows. I will continue trading in and out of SQQQ UVXY TVIX to extract as much profit as possible. The trick is navigating ups and downs with position sizing.
