Is this really America, the America you are proud of?

  1. You live in a community with a homeowners ass. you play by their rules. Case closed....not a case of religion or spirituality or protest. Simply being most people who live in planned communities prefer homogenized living. And they dont want one house out of 100 with blinking lights or peace signs or nativity scenes...or anything

another waste of space and brilliant topic

  2. Isn't the US just a nice peaceful christian nation who wants to liberate the world????

  3. We all live in a community with homeowners. Does freedom not apply in certain areas? Homogenized living...is that the polite word for ... I bet they keep out dark skinned people as well.

Bring on the brown-shirts to keep our society homogenized.
    Papers, please.

PEACE unites peopel, WAR divides them . I guess those who have kids serving in iraq don't grieve for the 100,000's killed by the West. All the divisive hate spewed by Bush and Fox.

God I hate extremists in the US. They are the #1 threat to my freedom . What a sick death society. You get in the way of their blood lust and they turn on you.

I think this empire should crumble, and soon.

  4. Exactly. Apparently the worst HOA's are in Colorado. There was another article about a judge siding with an HOA that told a homeowner he/she was not allowed to smoke in their own home. HOA's are nothing but little dictatorial regimes run by people who have no lives, so they want to make everyone's just as miserable as their own.

  5. How in the hell do you go from homeowners associations to death to America? I love it when people spew this shit but fail to realize that the USA is still where the tires hit the pavement in the worlds economy...if we "crumbled" the rest of the world would be in the crapper as well. Ignorance is bliss eh there hoser? The USA has done alot more good than bad over a few hundred years. But people dont like to talk about that.......especially the young ones who have no memory at all to pull from.

We have a homeowners association in our little community. We created it and bought 100 feet of land surrounding it. This way the state/county cannot build streets through it. Very safe for the kids and if we see a strange car everyone stays alert. Its called community spirit and pride.

  6. Becasue as you can see on TV racism, dividing, and hatred is sold to us daily. It's taken over.

Ok you're on. Tell me what good things the US has done for the world in the last 100 years? What kind of charity are they?
Kept slaves, made people sit at back of bus, dropped the worst WMD on innocent civillian in Japan, the worst war crime yet, devestated Vietnam and area?

Ruined Iraq in 1991 and today, causing untold suffering and human rights abuses, kept them in perpetual poverty. What red blooded solider wouldn';t live to waste some iraqs now?

That is what comes to my mind but I'll give you the benefit of the doubt. Correct me if you can, show me the error of my ways.

War on Drugs? how's that going. Nothing personal keep in mind but like most in the world it is becoming clear who is the threat to freedom. And Canada and the UK are just a big a part of the problem.

While I will agree that we a far from perfect there are a few items on your list are blown out of proportion.

Slavery and making people sit at the back of the bus. There is no excuse for this so I won't even try to defend this.

Dropping WMD on the Japanese. While it may be hard to believe sometimes in war you have to do bad things so that all the killing will stop. Remember we didn't exactly ask to be brought into WWll.

Vietnam, I never would have agreed with but if drafted I would have gone in a heartbeat.

Ruined Iraq in 1991. I was there. I was part of the liberation for the Kuwaitis. If you would have seen what Iraq did to them for no reason you would have had no problem ruining Iraq. Today is a different story, just like Vietnam I don't agree with this one. But don't mistake the actions of our Government for the wishes of our citizens.

Now, what have we done for mankind in the last 100 years? How about the majority of the vaccines out there. A lot of the nice things you are using in Canada. Cars, velcro, aluminum foil, telephone, we are leaders in research for disease control. When other countries get in trouble they come to us for help first. We take a lot of abuse whether we help or not and we just live with it.

Now back to the question that started this thread. If you live in a neighborhood run by a HOA you know going in that they will dictate how the neighborhood is kept. So the only other thing you can do is vote out the leaders. If too many neighbors believe in the rules established by that group then move. It is that simple.

  8. By being a moonbat.

TT2 is clearly one of those ignorant Canadians who prosper and are secure thanks to its southern neighbor but hate it nevertheless.
