ASUS VN247H-P 24-Inch Screen LED-Lit Monitor http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/41BC4Wd1CQL._SX385_.jpg
This monitor has a resolution of 1920 x 1080. I think it is worth paying extra for 1920 x 1200. The extra screen space can make big difference with some platforms and charting. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824236331 1245
I just bought 4 of these to mount on a quad stand. Nice thin bezel, it is not an IPS though if that is important to you. They looked terrible out of the box (text really jagged) until I turned the sharpness down from 90 to 30.
Yeah, just pay up for a dell ultrasharp 24" 1920x1200. I got 8, use them all day everyday, and love them. Matte screen is great.
Let me me clear. I was recommending 1900x1200 not that monitor or brand. I only wanted to show an example. He choose ASUS not me. I use Samsung which cost more. 1245
