I have something better for you - imagine a bank refusing to accept physical cash from you that you want to pay yourself into your very own bank account. "- These are my savings. - I don't believe you. You have no proof for that". (repeat to infinity) The cashier knew me personally, by the way. We were not friends but I served her as a customer in the business I worked in. By the way, that very same bank had no reservations about taking money from some well-known and now dead dictator a few years earlier. I have run out of ideas where to look for escape from this madness? I mean, you make efforts to make some cash and only THEN you have a problem - what currency to keep it in, physical or electronic, which bank, etc. Any ideas?
Probably just accept the world is never fair, deposit the money and close the account in a week, time better spent on market research.
%% Yes; find a bank+ there are a few of them-- that do good customer service. And any bank can get a bit unpolite , but it seems the bigger the bank the worse they get?? BAC gave me such a hassle on opening a saving account I closed it shortly. I also aim to keep it polite, even if a drama queen is looking for trouble/LOL
Really? I was able to open a Bank Of America saving account in less than 10 minutes, online. And that was years ago.
%% WELL BAC is so big, some may have gotten helped by law of averages. I still remember that bricks + mortar BAC branch/bad customer service.
