Is This A Step Closer Towards Facism In US?

  1. This is a very salient point.
I think it's the first time I heard it mentioned in any of the debate over the recent diminishing of privacy rights.

  2. I could care less if my mail is read either.
The problem is the carte blanch it allows.
It allows for the possibility of abuse and misuse.
And that, in itself, is the cause for the need of a judicial warrant; to provide a burden for a valid "proof of intent".
This is the premise so clearly stated in our Constitution.

Funny, I don't watch OReilly and I voted Democrat these elections primarily because of the abuse of powers and incompetence of this class of Republicans. "House Speaker Nancy Pelosis" makes me cringe, but so the cycle goes...

I never supported the Iraq war, despite the fact the majority of the DEMOCRAT leadership rubber-stamped it, and virtually all Democrats are on record suggesting Saddam was a very serious threat to our security.

What I've failed to do is link Bush to Hilter and blame America for all the problems in the world. Not to mention, locking on to the lunacy of a 911 conspiracy on the flimsiest, laughable "evidence".

Frankly, it seems it should be a very small task to expedite the process of obtaining a search warrant during "exigent circumstances" and hopefully the next congress and administration will make that happen. Most people agree with you though, this is not just a little disturbing, and provides more evidence of why Bush was handed his testicles in November.

HERE'S A TEST: Let's see if the Democrats roll back the policies bush has enacted which infringe our rights.

You are paranoid people. "Bush is the Worst terrorist and Murder in the History of Mankind!" does not constitute a rational view of the world, and that is all I've heard from you people for years. The left has cried wolf so many times, hell they haven't stopped, but the will once "their" leaders are doing the infringing. Who is the party of Regulation for god's sakes?

The greatest threats to America are cultural. If MY or MY NEIGHBORS mail was being read by beaucrats you'd see a revolt.
