Is this a good or bad trade?

All my statistical model suggests (with over 85% accuracy) is that NQ will be up 50 points at some point tomorrow (during NYC regular trading hours). If it pulls back overnight - and you buy it, it's more profit. If the market opens up more than 50 points above today's close it's even more profit. $100 per MNQ and $1K per NQ.

Not saying NQ can/won't be up 250 points tomorrow, but don't confuse what you want with reality in your trading strategy. On what basis do you think there will be a 250 point rise?

  2. Ah ok. I asked Mrs Monster and she was stumped. She is usually right on top of all that stuff cause she has a pretty big 401k and she also trades options a lot so she is usually all over information releases, statements, govt and corp reports, etc. "No Growley, don't trade today! Jobless report is coming out!" or "Interest rate increase! Quarterly earnings! Don't trade. Don't you have some urgent youtubes to watch or something?" LOL but she didn't realize Fed minutes were coming out. OK I will keep a finger on the bail-out hotkey if I trade at all, which I won't cause contractors and stuff at new house and I got to move a whole cut up tree so the yard man can mow. You would think I could hire somebody but NOOOO-ooooh. Everybody wants a job but nobody wants to work except the Mexicans and Hondurans and Salvadorans at Lowe's and they got smart and priced themselves out of the market so they can eat tacos and drink beer all day. Love the taco trucks, though. Sorry im rambling, 4th Old Fashioned. My BabyBunny makes them strong when I make a nice win so I don't go out to the tiddy bars to celebrate and spend it all. Meanwhile they should abolish the fed and we should get back on the gold standard and have a flat tax with zero deductions and put Sleepy Joe in an old folks home, his son in prison, and the Kreature well, I don't know. I think I will suck up to Mrs. Monster for another Old Fashioned now. She sure makes them good.

  3. What basis? Past performance including today. Psychology. And Thibodaux, our pet crawfish, told me. I asked him. He waves his claw when he agrees. My crystal ball seems to not be working correctly. Seriously, I base a lot of trading decisions on what has happened a lot or on what has just happened. Don't have a TV, don't watch the news. I get the Sunday paper just to read the comics and I canceled my WSJ subscription a couple years ago cause they just piled up unread because I never had time to read it. Every time I have subscribed to any all-wise oracles like the muttley fools I have been sorely disappointed. Thibodaux is on my side and he is loyal and sincere. Plus I give him shrimp, sardines, and little balls of fish meal and oats. He love them and he would never steer me wrong. Ever since I pardoned him at the last crawfish boil he has been my man. Or crawfish.

All I want is for it to move big. Up, down, doesn't matter, but I do think it will be up. I think your 50 points are in the bag, no sweat. It's a good call, though I think it is a call most guys would make after looking at the charts for today.
