Is this a good or bad trade?

Haha, it’s not my mind it’s my statistical model (which has been pretty accurate). Since it’s for regular trading hours it’ll be officially correct in just over an hour from now.

 

Was a great call, even if the timing was a bit off.

 

Timing was actually better than I thought, the model had a 300 point up move to be completed by mid next week (it did it right away, locking up the 300 point profit and ability to move onto next trade).

Next trade will be both for NQ and ES (and it'll have a 85% probability of success), will post later tonight.

 

Next trade:

There is an 85% (statistical trade) that both ES and NQ will get to a point tomorrow that they'll each be up 0.33% up from today's close. Currently both are right at par where it closed today. However, the trade is for tomorrow and it's possible (and likely) that the market opens above that level (9:30am - all my stats are for regular trading hours of 9:30am-4pm NYC time) at which time you'll profit more than the 0.33% but that would require you to sell right at the open of RTH.

Next trade:

There is an 85% (statistical trade) that NQ will get to a point tomorrow (NYC day trading hours) that it'll be 50 points higher than today's 4Pm (EST) close.

It gained 295 points today, half of it in just one hour. I think it is reasonable to expect a small pullback overnight and then another good rally tomorrow significantly better than 50 points, yeah, unless there is some bad bad news. I did good today trading 3 contracts MNQ. I am very likely to trade it again tomorrow and I am looking for about 250 points I think.

 

Get it while it's good, because it is all going away on Wednesday at 2PM Eastern Time.

 

Thanks fr the heads up. What happens then? I don't have a problem with taking a short position if the charts are telling me to. I can't trade Wednesday, anyway but I am all over it tomorrow.

 

Wed at 2 PM ET is the Fed meeting minutes release. The market has not liked that in every way it was the previous two times before. Bad juju. The Jan 5th release was the beginning of the downdraft, and then Ukraine.
