I am looking for pattern screening software.

I want to be able to scan all the stocks on the nasdaq that fit my criteria for patterns and possible breakouts. Even better, stocks that have just recently broken out.

Is there a website that does this if software doesn't?

    thanks inadvance,
    Chris

  2. Try NeoTicker by tickquest.com, also sr-analyst.com has an esignal add-in that will find Gartleys, butterflys, triangles, wedges, etc.

I believe that this service identifies certain stocks that have broken out - it's quite a bit cheaper at $7/month than others.

It has a number of shortcomings (not the least of which is that you cannot easily create large lists of stocks), but the developer is supposed to be working on addressing this:

    Try www.stockfetcher.com
they let you build huge lists and custom scans on all indicators, patterns, averages and anything else. They are very cheap too.

Also, I like Worden Brothers TC2007

You can download Thomas Bulkowski's pattern recognition software for FREE here.
I have never used it but it's there if you want to try it.
