Is there anyone that DOES NOT day trade at a prop firm?

  1. As titled.

I am just curious to see if anyone does purely position trading(holding overnight to several days) at a prop firm. Of course that means reduced leverage. But is anyone doing it just for the sake of accessing the firm's capital or the software or whatever reason?

It seems like prop firms only welcome high volume day traders since they generate a lot of commissions.

  2. Not true...good to be around other good traders to push yourself, bounce ideas, and not be a complete Hermit

I trade pairs and carry overnight. no issues at all. hedged all the way :D

  4. If you don't day trade, what's your average monthly volume? Don't the prop firms want at least +500k shares per month?

  5. As long as you're profitable, I don't see why a firm should care about your volume.

The only way we make money is through profit sharing, so if our traders lose, we make zero. No matter the volume.
