Tonights the night for the Christmas party, show up at my place about 21:00 and by 22:00 we'll head over to Jimmys in Monte Carlo. Prior to that I'll be trading NY so don't bug me.
hope you have a great time tonight at jimi"z.my wife and i decided to ski in switzerland.definitely next year. merry christmas and happy and profitable new year
Geeze, you know her? She's downstairs right now. OK next year for you. If you've ever bought a drink at a night club in Monaco you know why I have to trade like a mad bastard. Gotta go.
Jacques, Even I know Claudia. Met her in '95, her old man (ie father) had just sold his phamaceutical company and bought her a boat (ship) that she lived on in Monaco. I lived in Nice on an assignment for a multi-national and I was taking French lessons in Villfranche. Thats one gal you don't forget. I'm in London every month but seem to never get to France. I'll make a point of it in '06 and will look you up. Tina Turner lives in Villefranche now (trivia), keep your eyes peeled. Peter
[ I know Peter from New York where we worked at the same firm in the late '90s ] Peter, you're a married man with 5 kids, I suggest you deny knowing Claudia. Havn't met her myself but from what Jacques has told me, she a knock-out with a penchant for traders, even lousy traders. Appearantly she's hooked up with a Brit expat who has to travel home quite often, at his peril, much to Jacques' pleasure. Things are very calm by comparison in San Diego. Even the Chargers are out of it. Ah, the Riviera... Shorty
Is it difficult to trade NYSE when you are in France because of the time difference? How do you handle it?
