Is there a website that shows how many contracts traded for the day?

  1. I was wondering if there is a website that lists the total volume of contracts that were traded at one time during each day of a emini s&p 500 contract?

What I am looking for is not the total of contracts from every single trade put together, but instead the highest period for the day where the most contracts were traded.

You'll need to rephrase you question. Are you looking for the price that had the highest volume during the day? A price volume chart instead of a time volume chart?

  3. historically, the highest volume usually occurs between 7-10am PST
i can get the volume off the free NinjaTrader demo but also use this site:
    http://www.barchart.com/futures/
clk on the chart icon and then the timeframe - 60min you want to view

You can get that with any charts Wallace. That's just a basic chart with volume. I think the OP is looking for something else.

If you want an answer OP, you'll have to work a bit on your sentence.

  5. OP, you looking for session volume?

  6. Look at the price volume charts. Moat brokers have them; even the cme website has them. The time intervals change though. My broker shows from 5 minutes on up.
