What ever it takes ot get away from the nonsense. I have not filed for benefits nor taken any handouts. I did not even get a $600.00USD stimulus check. I work hard and have no credit card debt. I am usually the person who people come to for help. When I need something everybody scatters. My ex-employer played games with my 401k account. It took a lawyer to get my funds. Three letters were sent and the threat of a court appearence made them hand over my funds. My ex-wife almost killed me and the cops did nothing. I got robbed and assulted and nobody is doing shit. I have had more luck getting a P.I. to extract information from the system. There is no hope for the common citizen in the US. I happen to see a new T-Shirt in the local motorcycle shop it read. D.I.L.L.I.G.A.F. for those that know what these means it is how it really is. I was offered a chance to get my computers back if I paid the "street tax". This I will not do because it sends a precedence to the people who robbed me. It says I will pay to get my stuff back. So psychologicaly speaking a pattern could develop. I have to disagree with you. I know of a few examples of young kids working in service sector jobs that imo, are pissing away opportunities to build wealth. They get a tax refund, blow it on nothing. Refuse to buy stocks in companies they work for, don't take advantage of 401k. Make poor economic choices ie buying a dog or half a dozen cats (I know this is a lame but dogfood cost money and vet bills are high). People refuse to work overtime, really don't take work seriously. There are dozens of small things that could be done but financial IQ is dismal for the naysayers. ---------------------- As far as the US as the worlds unerpaid police force, I just read an article that Mexico basicall gave carte blanche approval to the US and border patrol to run the mexican side of operations as they see fit. Secondly, same with Canada, the US wants to not only control our border of Canada but have the final say how who is allowed to enter into Canada via airports ships etc. from around the world.
