Straying still further from respectable rigor, I recall a quote by Alan Watts: if one day a man ever invents and looks into a telescope powerful enough to see across the universe, he'll see the back of his own head.

    Ahem. : )

  2. Understanding the math is very important. I use this equation to explain the expanding universe. The simplicity is brillant.:D

  4. We can experience things about the universe if we get used to being in touch with our spirit bodies. I've been taking afternoon walks and focusing on the knee and foot chakras while walking. They are energy that surrounds the knees and feet. The foot chakra extends beneath the feet. So I find that I walk much slower. Then I find that I can walk on the curb without tipping off, walk on top of walls even, and thin ones at that... then I'm noticing that if I'm not focused on my spirit body, not engaging it, but walking mechanically like many do, I'll have a quandry when crossing a street and approaching a curb; should I take two short steps or one long step to get my foot on the curb? Astoundingly I found that if I at that point in time let my chakras do the walking my foot gets on the curb with no change at all in my stride! The universe adapted itself to get my foot on the curb somehow... We're just made a little different than what we are told.

  5. Gravitational lensing can lead one to believe in the possibility of this holographic universe. What I want to know is how in the heck did
Einstein see these possibilities long before all the technology came about?

"...Maldacena’s discovery, known as the holographic duality, showed that events in the interior region, which involve gravity and are described by string theory, are mathematically translatable to events on the surface, which are gravity-free and described by quantum particle theories...."
