Well it is only a matter of time U dont want to be caught holding the bag when they pull the carpet from under your feet
So it sounds like your strategy or thought process is strictly contrarian timing, and that you would avoid participation in a hard trending market for a ten percent move in order to choose a place to fade it ? I have been constantly amazed by the human condition when it comes to trading: how narcissism and ego and emotional gratification conflicts our ability to do the correct thing and achieve financial success. We will literally sell into a freaking freight train in order to say that we are smarter than the market - that the market is wrong and we are correct. Every client that I take on will tell me that they incorporate trend into their existing trading strategies, but in fact very few really know how to do it correctly and in a repeatable, systematic manner. And it is the five inches between the ears where the battleground lies.
March 15, 2012 Professor Bone, Thank you for your post confirming you remain S&P500 bullish. I'm sure your paying clients will appreciate your bullish analysis...
I'm not particularly bullish or bearish, I just prefer not to argue with the market. My preference is to let the other market participants do the heavy lifting and turn the market - I am perfectly content with trading the same bias with a confirmed trend. I personally find it exhausting to constantly fight the market.
how can a chump/clown/fool like you even show your "face" on Elite Trader. You obviously have NO clue. You called a top how many points ago?!
