FXCM acquired Hotspot FXr's retail margin business in early 2009 and most of those traders qualified for the Active Trader setup whereby traders trade on the raw spread and are charged a commission instead based on trading volume. Active Trader can be setup on the regular trading platform, MT4 or the Active Trader platform you mentioned (which was designed to include level II type market depth).
