Did you close your long, already but did not get short, yet?

It will be interesting if there are bitcoin etf commercials during The Super Bowl

Yup, I'm out of my long but didn't flip short this time. Plan on getting back in whenever we go back down to 45K :)

I don't think it will go down to 45k because the GBTC selling has slowed down considerably

There might be some surprise bad news, tho, so it always makes the btc price volatile

  7. Not too long ago I shorted ITM PUTs on ETH. Rarely do I do options ITM, but with due diligence, if you are going to short PUTs on crypto, this seems to be the best risk/reward method at a time like yesterday.

This is something I've been watching for a while now...

The only thing I still really worry about, is some Fed news that US currency will be backed by gold again. LMAO. That could sink BTC really fast... and do I mean crash!

But, I think that's about as unlikely to happen as a 10-Sigma event :sneaky:

I imagine its much more likely that China would do something like this since they have been accumulating like crazy. This would also sink the dollar I imagine because it would give any fiat currency much more legitimacy.

Since central banks are buying up so much gold, I think there has to be some kind of long term plan, but the fact that its impossible to trust any verification of such a peg means that it would hopefully have limited effect.

There’s the possibility that gbtc will still sell more. Don’t the new ETFs have lower fees? I can imagine gbtc liquidating completely and the funds moving to BR and friends. If it happens simultaneously it might not cause a dip though.

Yea, that's a crazy move up and down, but it's all good as long as btc maintains above 48k until market open in 9 hours

Yea, GBTC selling will probably continue but it has slowed down a lot and some are not going to sell and pay a big tax bill just to move and save 1.25%/yr which will take them over 10 years to make up for
