I tend to agree, and I think its even worse. If a robot can really do many things that a traditional laborer would, then this takes even more money out of the "general" population. There will be nobody left to buy the products that robots can produce. The entire tax structure will have to change because as it is, I think its these top companies that are at the forefront of AI and Robotics that are actually paying the least amount of taxes.
Winter is coming... Crypto Exchanges, Not Just FTX, Are All a Mess Right Now Legal troubles and low trading volumes continue to hammer the industry. https://gizmodo.com/crypto-exchanges-ftx-binance-genesis-gemini-are-a-mess-1850968083
WTF is that website? Filled with so much spam... In any case, I'm happy sitting on my blocks of shares for WonderFi, Bigg Digital Assets, and that one little short-put on Coinbase.
Hence the reason why socialism is on the rise. Labor strikes will get worse over the coming years. In my opinion, we might even go back to the era of the Wobblies.
The main reason socialism is on the rise is because the young & dumb generation wasn't around to see the disasters of socialist countries. They never even witnessed the Berlin Wall, or saw the waves of immigration from everyone trying to escape socialist/communist countries. I remember those days very well as a child, as do boomers before me. There is a myth that socialism is 'progressive' and that everyone will get 'free shit' and we will all live happily ever after. Unfortunately, it's always ended in disaster. And contrary to popular belief, Karl Marx wasn't the first person who thought up his communist manifesto. Communism has been tried long ago in history before his time, and always ended in disaster. It's sort of like... Quantitative Easing. You think everything is great (for a very short while). Then it all goes to permanent shit.
On paper,it should work. The 'gap' should be reduced. I don't think its ever been implemented without a royalty or an oligarchy in control, but that should be ok in theory,if the next 90% are near to equal.Thats never the case. I'm rambling, but its like saying,'everyone, lets live in peace, regardless of your religion' as a blanket protocol.People wont just fall in line for the greater good.
