And again... tonight I took advantage of the sell-off in alts this week and bought more Cardano. I will keep staking until I die, or US tanks roll through Bay Street.
Here's my next call on Bitcoin. Firstly though, it's not easy getting the timing right. Bitcoin will now run up to around 30,000, it'll form a double top and run back down again. Imo, this latest price action behavior has signalled weakness, there will be no fast violent recovery, the climb back up will take over a month.
Some will try to argue it is even better than the Ethereum Blockchain. After all, it was created by one of the original Ether devs, and made to be an improvement. But... Ethereum has first-mover advantage for Dapps, and good chance to still hold the dominant DeFi standard as the majority by far are built on it. Also, people know over time that Ethereum does not get abandoned, no matter how hard it is to swap to improvements, Vitalik ensures they do this instead of just abandoning and creating another chain from scratch. Anyhow, ADA is unlikely to fall off a cliff. A lot of projects use it for good reason (great security, and solves a lot of bridging issues) and more are joining all the time. It's not something I am betting the whole house on, just diversifying the crypto portfolio somewhat.
This is what I think is happening as per above chart except price will now possibly temporarily break out above resistance down sloping trend line to give the impression of a longer term breakout. Imo, bitcoin is fucked. Look at crypto instruments as short term trading opportunities, cast your eyes on other crypto assets, get in then get out, moving in and out one to another. The idea of Bitcoin as a long term investment is shot imo. It's only now dawned on me as it appears the weakness seems obvious.
For those who believe Bitcoin is a long term investment, this would be my suggestion. Watch what happens over the next couple of months max. If price cannot climb above 30,000, or struggles to do so and continues to fall, it might pay to "abandon all hope ye who live within."
