No, you mean ET will be shit until the market does what you think it will do, which is collapse to Depression-era lows.

  2. NO. :) Forget about Depression lows, that's a different thread, a larger move. This thread is strictly the bear rally from June 16.

So let me state what you have just said but applied to the bear rally .

ET will be sh*t if the current rally fizzles out and all Indexes crash to new lows knocking out June 16 low. Every single mother's son, all deadbeats will be wrong but will never admit it. They will then pretend they knew it all along.

Only the 22 voted NO in this thread will command enormous respect. The rest of the gang, thousands and thousands will and should be drop kicked out the friggin window or sold for 5 bucks a pound!! :D:D:D

With inflation numbers now cooling off, and the market getting it's bearings on the amount of horseshit it baked in, you really think we're gonna' break June 16th lows? With holiday season coming up? Yer high man. I tell you one thing for ceertain. The fears of an emergency August rate hike is now off the table. And ESPECIALLY if PPI comes in weak tomorrow morning, which I expect they will.

  5. Yes Sir, I surely do!

Now, do this for me please. Every reader of this post is encouraged to do this same thing now .....

look at the extent of the certainty in Overnight and keep in mind that he is part of the crowd that thinks that way uniformly at ET aka majority or vast vast vast majority, thousands of traders. And then ask yourselves this question: what does HISTORY say about a one-sided trade aka majority aka crowd aka Herd at a mjaor turning point all thru' History?"

Answer: They always lose and lose big

  6. This bear rally failure and taking out the June 16 lows will confirm my conclusion about ET in spades

    Deadbeat Central

Now try not to ask me then why am I sticking around? Here's why. ET will then be (after verification in first para of this post) the best place in the Universe to study crowd sentiment. Even better than Jake's DSI indicator.

Hey, look man. I was certain before coming into the last rate hike that we were in a bear market rally. The hot Jobs number on Friday seemed to confirm that idea. But since that time, the Fed has indicated they may be looking to pause. And then today happened with CPI. The Fed will then have two CPI prints and PPI to work with before the Sep meeting, along with jobs job jobs. I think they will be a bit more dovish in Sep if there is more softness in inflation.

  8. The amount of internal damage to organs in the SPX, Nasdaq and Russell 2000 is staggering

    Next target SPX = 2980

  9. Thank you for that, Overnight. I see what you are saying. Well stated and sound logic.

But I'm on a different wicket.

We are so close to a resolution of this issue which would of course at least start by the rally fizzling out. Then we watch for the June lows to be taken out.

    2980!! You are nucking futs!

Your internal damage to the SPX organs comment reminds me of a quick vid clip from an old TV show intro, and about 40 seconds in, where the voodoo lady is stabbing the hell out of the doll...
