The purpose of this thread: (if only everyone would vote ) To have a good look at our brothers and sisters charging toward the cliff To have a good look at the one or two or super few who are running in the opposite direction When the whole world is running towards an impending cliff (major market top) he who is running in the opposite direction appears to have lost his mind. Just from very limited reading my gut feeling was there are no more than 10 who are running as fast as they can in the opposite direction WITH ME. Sooner or later the vast majority charging toward the cliff might stop to kill us first as they consider us INSANE.
Just so we don't lose the mood, help me out with this one ............. There was a discussion not too long ago with about 14 people about the one, the only one, no 2 or 3 choices, just one, a sole solitary one, the greatest rock and roll song EVER, one so good that the 2nd place contender would be as far south as Argentina and therefore not even in the same arena to compete ............. if interested please give me your choice as per the rule outline preceding. Does not have to be Beatles, so can be any rock and roll song in entire history of rock and roll My choice is: While my guitar gently weeps
There is no answer to that question, because everyone has different musical tastes. I refuse to answer that question. I have ideas, but it would be a list of hundreds of songs. Pointless exercise. Maybe the better way to couch the question is what Stephen Colbert does, and questions folks with "If you could hear only one song for the rest of your life, what would it be?" That is a more fair question.
The original question stands as-is. Sure you can pick just one! My 2nd place contender, the one far south in Argentina but still a great contender .........
Similar question on a different note A room full of stunningly beautiful women: Same principle - look thru' ALL no more than 1 second per chick. Then hammer the choice Home. My choice for example: hypothetical scene ........ all the greatest foxes from Hollywood, Bollywood and wherever, all in the same room at the Biltmore Hotel in downtown LA - assume they were all there. I look at all one second each, then pick the waitress (a non-entity, a nobody, just a working stiff like me or other working stiffs). She looks like this
Its never hard to pick #1 when #1 is so good that what separates it from the 2nd place contender is a universe
That is completely different, but exactly the same conundrum. Everyone has their own personal tastes and preferences. There is no universal #1.
