Didn't Kraken have that huge slippage on ETH not even like a month ago? Yup... here is an article. Imagine being taken out at a level that other exchanges didn't even come close to hitting. https://www.coindesk.com/ethereum-flash-crash-kraken-crypto-markets
what about all those MBS 15 years ago??? Best of the best issued them and Bear and Lehman went down, trillions lost during great recession. That being said, once I realized Tethers business model, I am not sitting on side lines anymore. cool, coinbase seems like a solid option. Thank you
Wait, what??? Did you see any on the list that purchased mortgage backed securities? Paul Tudor Jones? Harvard and Yale Endowment? Yea, Bear and Lehman, Ctibank, Bank of America, these are greedy banks, too big to fail did not care to gamble with taxpayer money on MBS/CDS You're welcome
as far as PTJ and the rest. How much of their worth they put in. I believe tiny amount for just in case type of scenario. Similar to what I am planning to do (“slightly” smaller scale )
Bitcoin Stock to Flow source https://100trillionusd.github.io/ The below vid is not stock to flow as the link above is but it is highly informative of the long game in BTC.
Since you have asked, yes. If you have 10 B AUM, throwing 200 MM on Bitcoin is just diversification and even if they lose half of it, they won't even notice. None of these gentlemen can logically explain why Bitcoin should be worth X, but they do have FOMO. CEO's investing their company's money in crypto should be pretty much illegal. Specially when their company's business has nothing to do with currency trading. At least Overstock was selling products in Bitcoin.
