Is someone trying to rip off my IB account?

    Sorry all, this message was sent in error by us. I don't have details of how or why it was sent, but thought I should post here asap so people wouldn't worry. Not sure who hit the wrong button. Please ignore it.

  6. We purged old deposit notifications from our system (2003 more specifically). Emails should not have been sent. I apologize for the confusion.

  7. Deposit notifications? Looks more like withdrawel notifications to me...:confused:

    Why would deposit notifications be rejected?

  8. We deleted deposit notifications that had not been matched to actual deposits. We understand the wording on the email caused security concerns and sincerely apologize for the unwarranted stress.

    Steps are being taken to avoid a repeat of this event.
