It is a little scary... they were running for years, and always very responsive and then all of a sudden with no warning in 24 hours they are gone. I have also written an email, let's see if they respond.

To be clear, I just noticed that the email I got is different than the one you posted earlier in the thread. The text of my email was as follows:

    Dear Customer,

Shark Traders company is no longer providing services to individual traders, that is why crediting your trading account is no longer available. Please, send us your bank details we can use to withdraw the remaining sum from your account.
    Thank you for comprehension

  5. Its strange i never received this email considering the fact that i just deposited money on Feb 20th and i still had a chat with the customer care (Alice) a day before the bankruptcy email as sent to me. My account has not even been activated for trading but i can see my funds in proprepots.

February 27, I got the answer
that my money came to the deposit.
    since then nothing.
    so the company is dead.
    I lost $ 2,000.
they have not even opened an account.
    That's why this shit
he can only get money that you can lose.
I have lost more in a single day, so I will survive ...
    I am more than sure
that this is about XIV ....

Take a screenshot of those funds and when they arrived. It might be used as evidence to get all of your money back, in case they try to roll you in with losses that other people are sustaining.

If what you are saying is true, if it was due to XIV, then you have a case against them for taking your money. XIV blew up in early February, which is the time that they should have known they were bankrupt. So if that was true and they were taking deposits for another few weeks, it's essentially stealing money. As for why they blew up, I have a hard time believing that it was a customer which caused this... why would they allow a customer to take on that kind of position? They do have risk control. What if instead the principals of the firm were trading with your capital and holding overnight with it? XIV could have wiped out anyone the way it lost 95% in a day. Anyone remember John Corzine and MF Global? At any rate, good luck getting your money back, these guys are Russian and do their banking in Cyprus I believe, I wouldn't hold my breath.

when it comes to vix, it's just my idea.
Regarding recovery, I see it wrong.
my losses are the costs of this business.
$ 5000 I would never send anywhere in such a place.
this company was supposed to be for me -
reserve company. of course, I'm afraid that the basic company will collapse ....
    just like everybody.
    it's comical.
I thought - I will create a second account in another company. and the other company went bankrupt.
I'm starting to laugh about it.
I am sorry for those who lost their larger deposits, along with probably profits.
It's time to look for a professional company.
anyone knows something about similar bills like prop's?

unfortunately, my method requires sterling ....
on the other hand - anything that allows sending a basket of orders.
the smaller problem is 30k, like this
    that
I do not have series7 or similar.
    for it
I live outside the USA ....
series 7 and similar rather unobtainable
    - not good English....
lightspeed , bright, t3, something else where can I look?
