This guy has some valid points, but those posts also have a LOT of inaccurate information. If he was not successful as a trader, that doesn't mean it cannot been done. I personally know at least two dozens options traders who are consistently profitable. There are a lot of students in Dan Sheridan program who are consistently profitable. He is probably right in one thing: it is very difficult to make money by just selling options over time. Those trades can work very well many months till one bad month wipes many months of profits. This is why you have to diversify and hedge those gamma negative strategies with gamma positive trades.
