I was listening to Obama's speech last night, and something seemed quite familiar to it. In certain parts it sounded much like Obama's normal tone, terrific diction, accent free. Then it is as if he was trying to channel MLK (or Jessie Jackson who tried to copy MLK). Yes, it is effective, no question. Read the speech of Obama, it doesn't hold a candle to the great speeches of the past 50 years. true... the lack of experience is undisputable... great message though... an ability to bridge the divide that H doesn't seem to have, don't u think?
