If you have any experience with NEXTREND, would appreciate your opinion of its reliability/service/usefulness etc. TradeRX
I have been using Nextrend for a few months now, and have found it to be very reliable. It does not seem to use as many resources as other services I have used in the past. The data has been accurate so far and the tech support is second to none. You will usually get to speak to somone live within 30 secs and if they tell you that they will get back to you, they will. We all have different needs, but for me reliability and ease of use is important.
Thanks for the response. I assume the quotes are fast and furious? Think I'll try a month or two with them...thanks again alipang. tradeRX
I have been using Nextrend for a few weeks and the service has been great. I havenât experienced delayed data or a time of day that I was unable to log in to the system. Nextrend is perfect for my needs I like the multi page function, I set up a separate page for every stock I trade then I have a watchlist page and a news page. When I set my alarms I open the alarm log and use it as a quote sheet so when alarms go off I just double click that alarm and it takes me to the page where the alarm went off. Things that I donât like about it are; No color coded time & sales, no crosshair for the priceline, quote sheets are very basic and is hard to sort, (told by client support that quote sheets will be fixed in there fall release) unable to link separate windows within a page but you can link every window in that page (click a symbol and every window on that page changes to that symbol), I have talked to client support and they said this function will be in the next release. You can call Nextrend and they can give you a free 2 day trial of there top of the line package so you can get a feel if the software will work for you. Here are some samples of the layouts I use. http://people.va.mediaone.net/markiss/ScreenShot000007.gif http://people.va.mediaone.net/markiss/ScreenShot000009.gif http://people.va.mediaone.net/markiss/ScreenShot000010.gif
Any advice from those of you running Nextrend behind a firewall or server software? My copy won't log on while running on a Sygate server, but if I dial-up directly it runs fine. When it does run it seems very reliable and clean.
