Is Newt A Viable Candidate?

Discussion in 'Politics' started by AAAintheBeltway, Nov 15, 2011.

  1. Newt is DOA, he will not carry the vote of a single woman, liberal or conservative. He will not carry the vote of any more than 2% of any minority. He will not carry any more than 2% of any of the collegiate vote. He will not carry any states in the Northeast or West. He will not carry Illinios, or Missou.

    He might, maybe, carry Ohio.

    He will not carry Pennsylvania.

So, the majic nine states. He will only carry Florida, Texas, and mayyyybe, Ohio. It will not be enuf.

  6. not so sure about that. newt has just the right mixture of hypocrite, religion and crazy to appeal to the republicans. and he is not a morman. he could be a threat.
i used to think perry fit that bill but i didnt realize he was such a bumbling idiot. newt will not be like that.

  7. He might be right.

People vote stupidly. They usually don't look at "the big picture"... and many base their vote on a single issue.

So What.. if Newt is perceived as cad or unfaithful husband? Hardly a unique situation... and how important are his woman issues to the role of POTUS and its impact on American lives, freedom, etc.. ??

No candidate is going to resonate perfectly on all issues with a voter. Votes should be cast based upon the weight of all his issues... with the most important ones being given the priority considerations.

Newt is experienced, smart, understands the problems.. and presuming his primary concern is to "fix America" (unlike his predecessors, Bush and Odumbo)... he should make a good president... REGARDLESS OF HIS WOMEN ISSUES.

    Proofread.

That's what you do to limit typo's.

  9. It is the content of the document moreso than it's spelling. Spelling actuallly changes over time, it is unlikely you could read a document written in English in the 1600's
