I did not put it in quotes because you actually said you'd vote for cartoon characters and such, over Obama.

So IOW I never said what you claimed I said, repeatedly.

I never said "I'd vote for someone worse than Obama", for the simple reason there is no one worse. And you wonder why so many ET members think you're an idiot.

You said you'd vote for daffy duck or spongebob squarepants, among others, and I'm not going to go digging through your posts to find out which one.

We'll let you slither out of this one by granting that you assumed we'd read, "among the possible GOP contenders" after your large and underlined histrionic "no one", and we trust that you use better attention to detail and emotional control when you're piloting an aircraft.

Quite different type of recession during Reagan's years.

Tax cuts will not help in a liquidity trap. And the idea of a "regulatory stranglehold" has been debunked at least twice on this board. Thus, any supply-sider would be worse than Obama, though admittedly not necessarily by much, since Obama has been ball-less when it comes to implementing demand-side solutions. I hope he grows a pair for the next four years.

I got caught? You don't honestly think I worry about what you'll do to me if you catch me in something, do you?

You made a post with leaps of assumptions on what folks would do. I asked you what your qualifications were to make such a post as a way of saying "You really don't have any idea what people will do." You got pissy after that.

You've begun getting pissy on this board a lot as of late.

    haha...caught.

Rectum is probably thinking of me saying my dog could do a better job than Obama. She really is smarter than him though. She'll even quit barking when I tell her to be quiet. Can't get Obama to learn that trick! :D

    That is a possible explanation.
But you do realize that we are looking at supply demand curves at at some point if you tax to high you stifle you economy.

If you are in a high tax area of the curve as you reduce taxes more people choose to work and invest and revenues go up. On the flip side if you are in a very low tax or zero part of the curve, taxes can increase revenue.

We are looking at dynamic systems. And now we are looking at dynamic global systems. Where capital goes where returns vs risk look best.
