What I said was: "Probably some lame explanation for this but does not have a good look to it." I stand by that. We know that if a republican did that to the daughter of a newly elected hispanic rep then it would look one way. But if a dem does it, it will get explained away. If Pelosi called the rep and offered an explanation and apology for any unintended appearance when just trying to do this or that, and reiterated what a pleasure it was to swear her in and have her lovely daughters in attendance, then that is fine. Did she do that?
If "Pelosi called the rep and offered an explanation and apology for any unintended appearance when just trying to do this or that, and reiterated what a pleasure it was to swear her in and have her lovely daughters in attendance" -- do you think the newly elected Republican rep would ever state that publicly in our current political environment?
