Is my career over?

  1. YOU DAMN RIGHT I GOT FUCKED UP... lol, I was drinking all night long, and when my friends came back from the air force, right before my best friend left to belgium, we all went out to the club and danced until 3 am almost every night he was back that month.

    Problem with having fun?

Although I lead a life of much maturity, I do like to go outside sometimes and have some fun.

  2. "Business?" As a prop trader? You must be joking. Anyone can regurgitate things they have read about trading.

  3. I'm sorry max, is there a point to your posts?

I'm sorry I'm a teenager and I'm in the financial world. Should I just give up what I love to do.

Hell, I'm going to give up music production and I'm going to give up drinking on special occasions. I'm never going to think about trading in my life ever again....

Yeah, that makes a whole lot of sense.

Do you trade by any chance, I don't understand why you are questioning my personal life?

You find a myspace website about me, that just about every teenager in the world seems to have now these days, and I'm immature, and don't deserve to be a trader.

Notice on my pages, I don't claim to be a trader, how I can't explain it to my friends in the airforce, for which I decided not to go to the airforce to be a trader. How much risk I had to do that?

I take pride in what I do. My friends take pride in being in the airforce. I love trading, do you got a problem with it. Do you got a problem with my personal life. Who cares??? lol

But thanks for driving this thread completely off topic, got me off the OP's back.

I've been chatting on ET for about 5 straight hours now and time is flying my friend.

I'm going to go find Red_Ink_inc and we are going to Buenos Aires and we are going to that club he was talking about  :D

  5. Um, no thanks Max, you already took the thread off course by about 10 or so posts, I'll just keep quite and let you discuss my personal life some more. I invite all criticism in my life, because constructive criticism only makes me a better person for it.

Just for that though, I'm going to go on my myspace and say I make 250k +, maybe the increase will get me an even richer hot girl :D

  6. No I didn't. It's right on course. The threads you join usually end up revolving around your pontifications, your "sage" advice, your expertise, your rants, etc. It's all about you, apparently. So this thread is right where you want it. BTW, how many id's do you have on ET?

  7. We need to make this discussion more even by having max401 tell us what accomplishments he has done at the age of 19

    What have you done?
    Where are you now?

Lets see your myspace and compare it to JM's,

He goes out and parties as a 150k earner and has fun, Whats on your myspace?
    Star wars figurine pictures?

  8. I'm sorry, this thread is about "Is my career over?"

I have reviewed tons of posts here on ET. I'm not sure of it, but I'm willing to bet I've been up till 3 to 4 am many more times than you have looking at all the posts on ET, trying to gain as much information as possible.

Like I said, I love ET. It's my favorite website. I say stupid stuff sometimes, but that's because I like to voice my opinion and I don't want anyone to fail in this business. But it does happen.

The OP is so damned determined he is going to make it, yet he just won't realize that he is gambling. He wants to gamble, I just don't want to see him ruin his life or his family's life.

He then asks me questions, i answer them, he says something that I see before from other people that have failed, I let him know about it.

You know, trying to be a good help in the most direct way as possible.

    I have said many times.

I don't sugarcoat my replies with BS. I'm kinda like Cheese in that manor, I think I got it from him. He just tells it like it is. I do to.

I'm 19, do I really have the authority to be up here saying all this stuff? I don't know. Does age matter? Does a persons sex matter? Does any of that matter, I don't know what others think. But I'm just trying to do the best I can for me and help others that are like me that love the markets and love to trade. I hopefully make enough money at the end of the month to buy food to put in my mouth.

I respect all the traders here on ET that are older and wiser and have been around... quite a few people I have asked about the "old days" to get a feel for how the markets were in the past. I have done my research. I posted a list of prop firms *got deleted by mods* to help newbies that want to try the markets but don't want to risk a lot of money.

I try to help people and I don't care what others say. See me lately babbling on the eSignal thread? Yeah, I got a lot of people telling me to zip it already, but I don't care.

I try to do the best as I can now, so I can set myself up to be a good trader. I'm still 19 though, I don't act my age as often as you'd expect.

I'm here because I love to interact with traders that are experienced and know what they do and I always share my experience with trading thus far with other newbies because I came into trading expecting a lot as well. This guy just demonstrates all the things I've seen from other failures on this forum. He will never win with his current attitude. Is it wrong for me to tell him that? Others have posted things along the same lines.

I did not take this thread off topic, you did by posting my myspace and posting the fact I wrote up there that I make 150k and make it sound like I have told everyone on here I make 150,000 a year. Like someone else said, no one takes that stuff seriously. I love to joke around and have fun. I love trading, and I don't think the OP should be trading because he insists on trading with 6 lots vs. 1 lot.

So, there it is. If I'm a horrible person for that, and I don't deserve to be here, so be it. I spend more time up here than some mods do i bet, I've been on this computer for nearing 5 1/2 straight hours chatting it up today. Haven't even been able to look at my charts or anything and I'm also talking to another newbie trader in a chat room trying to help him out because he wants to trade prop and I'm helping him try to determine a good rate.

I do take this business seriously and I respect all people that do this for a living, I NEVER have claimed to be better than anyone and if I have, it has been under amazing circumstances, like this thread for example and the OP. I don't care if I am better than anyone. I just love trading and my goal as a trader is to make money, just like most other jobs.

I'm done with this off topic stuff.

  9. Also, I have 1 ID on et.

I invite any mod to check me on that too, I don't understand why the hell anyone would need more than 1. There is better things to do than to try and impress people on a forum. It doesn't help my trading.

JMowery1987 is the one I started with august last year, and it's the one I chat with every day. Why would you make an assumption like that as well?

You want to chat with me on AIM, Yahoo, or MSN, go ahead I got them all posted on my profile, I don't care who I talk to, I love talking to other traders. Where I live, I have not met a single other trader, or met anyone interested in trading personally. I know there are a few traders from VA that posted in a thread I started on the "Hook up" section of this site, but that's about it. No one else to talk to. People around here don't respect, or apprecaite what I do for a living. That is why I'm on ET, because there are others that do the same thing I do every day, they love the markets, and it's a part of their life.
