Yes having a well defined and widely agreed upon bull or bear market makes trading easier for everyone a la "Well this is a bull market, you know" but is the mark of a true trader one who can consistently make money even when such sentiment is yet to be firmly established, or do experienced hands instead know to open smaller positions and mostly wait for the market to change?
