Didn't read every post. The Spanish Flu ended...Yeah, it came in wave after wave. But, at some point, you had herd immunity and it quieted down. It seems like Covid will do the same thing...

It’s a never ending story now, they’ll keep releasing new variants, can’t be final.

Elite Trader needs a new forum called "Elite Dunning-Kruger" and this thread should be pinned to the top. So much unscientific derp...

People are dying just as much with Omicron if they are unprotected. Vaccines and prior infections are less protective against symptoms, but still protective against serious illness and death.

  7. It is good to read that now there is a possibility that the pandemic will soon be ending. I think even the market also is not that much reactive to this new variant of covid.

This pandemic will be with us for years and years. Don't fool yourself. Certain players in this health space have found the cash cow they were looking for. And they are going to milk that cow for as long as they can.

Rho variant incoming by the late summer. Mark it dude.

This is misinformation and dangerous. The deaths are from Delta. Not from Omicron. The severity of illness may be worse without vaccination, but deaths are rare. This is according to the CDC.

The problem with spreading misinformation like this is particularly worrisome for children who are unvaccinated with Omicron. Kids with lower respiratory illnesses or kids with far more serious sicknesses should be given the priority. But people who spread this type of misinformation send worried parents to a children's ER who are already dealing with staffing shortages.
