%% Good job,H123; i seldom wanted or used gov healthcare trainwreck========================================================== Even though i have have a few of his books, i seldom listen to DR Dobson, psyco........I have never seen a random pattern except maybe once;but after thinking about it, not really random; she just moved in many non logical ways because she liked to shop. LOL
Truth be told, just seeing it for the first time too. I guess this is another benefit of this forum, nice one!
Why would you think I don't like your style? I was merely pointing out that even though you put in a lot of work into your strategy, you had a lot of lucky turns along the way. In a sense, but on the other hand, a lot of your decisions are forced by various random events. You can think of it the same way as you think of a path for a stock in a given period. There is the lottery of birth, which is equivalent to the starting price of the stock. Then there is the effort and choices, which are equivalent to things like interest rates and dividends. Finally, there is a variety of random events that influence your life, which for a stock would be volatility. Spot price dominates, unless the volatility is extreme (e.g. you not going to become royalty unless there is something seriously crazy going on). Hard work matters (carry = divs and rates) and changes the mean of the distribution, but luck (station of birth and life events) still has more effect on your outcome.
%% Sle;Sounds like he + maybe many; are ticked off @ the way you confuse luck with a small sample.Or maybe, + no offense intended; the way some get on the wrong side of the Webster' s example ''the loser blamed his bad luck''
