  4. Although it would appear that you and I are at opposite ends of the political spectrum, I do respect people (as yourself) that can put a coherent argument forward without going into the gutter.

    With that said, I am curious what on earth would a "true" leftist look like ??

    This site is populated with zealots from all spectrums, the left included, the left seems to be well represented here.

    Interestingly, quoting from an old document probably makes me out to be a radical right winger:

    When, in the course of human events, it becomes necessary for one people to dissolve the political bonds which have connected them with another, and to assume among the powers of the earth, the separate and equal station to which the laws of nature and of nature's God entitle them, a decent respect to the opinions of mankind requires that they should declare the causes which impel them to the separation.

    For protecting them, by mock trial, from punishment for any murders which they should commit on the inhabitants of these states:

    For cutting off our trade with all parts of the world:

    For imposing taxes on us without our consent:

    For depriving us in many cases, of the benefits of trial by jury:

    For transporting us beyond seas to be tried for pretended offenses:

    For abolishing the free system of English laws in a neighboring province, establishing therein an arbitrary government, and enlarging its boundaries so as to render it at once an example and fit instrument for introducing the same absolute rule in these colonies:

    For taking away our charters, abolishing our most valuable laws, and altering fundamentally the forms of our governments:

    For suspending our own legislatures, and declaring themselves invested with power to legislate for us in all cases whatsoever.

    He has abdicated government here, by declaring us out of his protection and waging war against us.

    He has plundered our seas, ravaged our coasts, burned our towns, and destroyed the lives of our people.

    He is at this time transporting large armies of foreign mercenaries to complete the works of death, desolation and tyranny, already begun with circumstances of cruelty and perfidy scarcely paralleled in the most barbarous ages, and totally unworthy the head of a civilized nation.

    He has constrained our fellow citizens taken captive on the high seas to bear arms against their country, to become the executioners of their friends and brethren, or to fall themselves by their hands.

    We, therefore, the representatives of the United States of America, in General Congress, assembled, appealing to the Supreme Judge of the world for the rectitude of our intentions, do, in the name, and by the authority of the good people of these colonies, solemnly publish and declare, that these united colonies are, and of right ought to be free and independent states; that they are absolved from all allegiance to the British Crown, and that all political connection between them and the state of Great Britain, is and ought to be totally dissolved; and that as free and independent states, they have full power to levy war, conclude peace, contract alliances, establish commerce, and to do all other acts and things which independent states may of right do. And for the support of this declaration, with a firm reliance on the protection of Divine Providence, we mutually pledge to each other our lives, our fortunes and our sacred honor.

I think what the man is saying is we are Rome and are being ruled by the "Roman Senate" in their latter years with the vomitoriums and toga parties (figuratively speaking), resorting to putting lead in their coins instead of gold and silver, expansionary wars and so on. May already be too late to stop it.

  9. This whole thing has been set up way before obama. Probably going back more than 50 years.

    After taking the time to do some research and actually think for myself vs listening to mainstream media's bullshit. I now am positive of a few things.

    1. The financial collapse was indeed engineered

    2. The dollar's devaluation was also engineered and is destined to go to zero.

    In the future we are looking at a new global currency, a new world government, etc. I would suspect that this all starts taking place within the next few years.

    I just thank god I came from rural america (and will be moving back very soon) and can be self sufficient. I also thank god that I own many many firearms.

    Kurt...friendly warning. Stay off all public telecommnuications (that includes your home phone, cable or Direct TV, Baby Monitors , intercoms, Bus Passes ..etc.). Stay off any and all TCP/IP comms. Don't get caught on any CCTV cams that happen to be in your area. Look into alternative passports. And when you do go make sure your itinerary includes Mexico City and Venezuela. Only then you may have a chance.

    And when the guys with bad haircuts wearing sunglasses come to your door....be respectful....and for gods sakes....DON'T SHOOT.
