Is Jim Rogers still long Airlines?

  1. He's the smartest guy in the room. He may be wrong, but if not the airlines are a hell of a buy at these levels.

    I think he meant airlines around the world, not US domestic airlines.
     
  5. Unless someone comes up with a new way to transport people around the globe, the concept of the airline isn't going to go away. Just gotta pick the one most likely to survive.
     
  6. may as well just wait for them to go bankrupt, again, ditch both their debts to creditors, and wipeout their existing shareholder base, again, go public again at inflated prices, and short them.
     
  7. Rogers is long airline BONDS, not airline stock. Maybe you guys will get this straight this time around.

    He is in foreign airlines, not US ones.

    Of course he's still long. He never sells just because the price is massively against him, rather he tends to buy more. He's ALWAYS early.
