  1. Hey S, it's not about superiority it's about knowledge and ability. Dest has shown time and again that when it comes to Options, he is one of the most knowledgeable folks on this board, in fact he was able to completely expose Mr Pump and Dump Options guy when certain vendors could not or would not call this guy out. I smelt a dead rat there but Dest nailed him, and Mr P and D got banned, for marketing.

Imagine, charging your "members", then pumping an illiquid product, where your entry could never be matched by you members, basically sticking them with the empty bag. And you have the nerve to criticize Dest because he hurt your feelings, maybe if you put yourself out there to point out some of the charlatans that show up here from time to time, your complaints about Dest's demeanor would be taken more seriously. Frankly I am amazed that a "trader" would have such thin skin, you sound like ES.

Ahh yes, the negative proof! Not contributing anything of value proves that you're trading!

Dude. I posted a picture of a paper statement showing a $2MM balance. You posted a black and white scanned copy of a fake run showing a $0.00 balance.

You're right. You didn't show anything useful.

  3. Hey Sprout, Dest can be obnoxious, arrogant, and profane. But, he really knows what he is talking about when it comes to Options, which is what I have been following him on. To shut him up, all someone has to do is prove him wrong, and I am not talking about who can trade, who is more profitable, I am talking about how the markets work, what is possible and what is not. The volume issue by the guy pretending to be a chick, was classic, everyone got mad at Dest for exposing another fraud. If you are calling him a Troll you are wrong, he may be a lot of things, but a Troll, nope.

Sorry, but I have more interesting things I can do then discussing about this neurotic paranoid wiseguy.

To be fair, that description applies to human beings in general. Structurally it’s the function of beliefs to associate new stimulus to something we’ve experienced in the past. That process has it’s pros and cons.

This thread being a demonstration of the cons.

Your ignore function is broken again, @Spydertrader. It's 2018. Denim is out, Bro.

Structurally you're homeless and living in your dad's RV and disposing of turds left by the pets of bourgeois campers.

I learned to be open to what other people say or think, even if my personal experience or opinion was different. It improved my knowledge as I learned new things and it helped me to avoid mistakes as I realized that I am not perfect.
I always checked if my world was more or less like the real world (checking my real performance with what I was expecting to be my performance).

Klaiman was in a TLT fly which was down >50%. He closed the wings at a 50% loss, but since he initiated a new position he ignores the loss. He considers it a "roll." He posted it as a "winner" because he bought back the body-puts at a profit, leaving the wings down over 50%. The guy is a fraud.

Hershey was managing $100K-$110K AUM of ***OPM*** in his 90s. He used to boast of $100K days. There was a competition thread on here in which he lost a couple grand after benefitting from hindsight/impossible fills. He quit the thread midday on day1. Only Hershey can lose money while benefitting from time-machine trades... until:

vanzandt loses $3K on day1 and $5K by day2. He leaves the competition and starts another thread. He's down by $9K on day5 while benefitting from hindsight and paper-trades.

    This place is 90% asylum.

Wise words of experience, thank you.

It takes a while to figure out we need other people to see our own blindspots but only if we're open to growth.

Some folks get 'stuck' and never grow beyond a certain self-imposed limitation. Trauma is generally the cause. Life is full of traumatized zombies of the living dead, caught in an endless loop of blame, abdication of self-responsibility and righteous indignation born from privilege.

A broken record is a broken record until it's not. For it to be not, that would require thinking new, better feeling thoughts at the expense of their attachment to pain.

Destriero hasn't made my ignore list. But don't take that as endorsement... I have exactly zero, nada, zilch, noone on ignore. My bad? I think not.

As mentioned in the recent posts in this thread I can say I've actually gained bits and pieces of knowledge or info from Destriero. I don't even trade options! I'm just open-minded and I enjoy thinking and learning! :)

As for Jack Hershey, I am ever respectful, appreciative, and thankful to Jack for having a positive impact on my trading (and therefore my life). Frankly, and for the record, if Destriero is correct about Hershey AUM, I would not allow ANY 90plus yo to manage my money! And there needs to be a succession plan in place too! That argument both in terms of Hershey AUM and track record is moot to me.

    SpyderTrader, is that you Sprout?
