  2. Don't take it too close. I didn't mean to insult you. Just there are so many threads last time about "scalping"...

It seems to be the latest fetish these days among wannabe traders, who prolly don't understand that this is one of the toughest trading styles around. Yet it's popular and people again and again start threads asking "if it's possible" when in reality many people even call different things "scalping".

    Grow up!

What timeframe charts do you use to scalp NQ?

I used a 1min and a five min and (i am not at all saying this is the correct way to do it) say the histogram was showing a short signal below 1, when this began to weaken, 2 or three consecutive weaker bars I would buy, with a very tight stop. (or short opposite)

I did mean ticks, not points. but I routinely type points and I don't know why.

Try a longer term chart and "scale in" to make real money!
I do not bother with anything below a 30 min, different strokes.....

    good trading!

    Thank you Surdo.

What profit target, if any, with a 30 min entry? How many trades a day?

    Thank you,

I trade NQ for 10 - 20 points(not tics) and DO NOT trade every day. I have been doing this long enough to realize one 20 Bagger is better than 10 2 Baggers!
