I think the OP was annoyed with the market rallying on the news of the White House supporting the automakers. I agree with Landis, this is just chit chat. On the other hand, virtually every thread in here is just that.

 

Did you forget to cover? Shorts love to blame the fed, George bush, Paulson, Ben when they get blown out of the water.

 

And what would be other reasons? keep going, you're on a roll........
