Smart Money's advice is dead on, your lucky to have access to good people like him because the web is filled with Trolls and Hucksters! How would you handle this stock after holding it for months, would you add more or get worried it's going to fall off a cliff? I will post my trade confirmations showing how I mitigated risk while doubling my exposure with far less money. Would you sell this stock because of this price spike or keep it, please explain!
honestly jesse i dont know how much you put down but if your making a fair amount of money on this trade i think you should sell it and just take your profits. But if youre not it seems and want to hold on it seems that the stock is pretty healthy bull. It goes down and then goes up with a sudden surge in volume and price. I wouldnt hold on to this for more one or two days after the 49$. And then think about shorting it. This is just my opinion and I JUST WANT TO REITERATE THAT I AM NEW TO TRADING AND STILL HAVENT EVEN COME CLOSE TO UNDERSTANDING TRADING.
oh i see sorry i didnt see the date for the stock. I thought this was something you were holding right now. sorry.
I know, "volume" is the Holy Grail of analysis. "Volume precedes price", et al... blah, blah... I don't use "volume" in any analysis. Trading's objective is not to be "in tune with volume", but rather "in tune with price". There are only 3 good reasons to sell a profitable play. 1. Aggressive Sell... into resistance, if you are a technical player 2. Defensive Sell... break of possibly important support 3. Defensive Sell... "Story" changed negatively and you don't want to wait to see if significant support stems the decline. JMV...
