Is intelligence important for trading?

Discussion in 'Psychology' started by 0008, Dec 2, 2002.

  1. I have read that accountants and engineers have a hard time
with trading. Something about the need to be right. And being
perfectionists. There can be no perfection in trading... :(

What this has to do with intelligence? I dunno....

  3. I agree with you Brandon. Most intellects have to reason out things, and that type of thinking will cause you to lose the edge on speed.

Discipline and experience is more important.

    Intelligence and persistence helps though.
